Walmart Food Drive to Support the Southern Maryland Food Bank
Walmart Stores, in partnership with the Southern Maryland Food Back, located in Hughesville, Maryland, will host a food drive on March 6, 7, and 8, 2009. Your local Walmart stores and associates in Prince Frederick, California, Waldorf, La Plata and Dunkirk will all participate.
We will be collecting your donations at our stores from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the drive and encourage you to participate as we support this great cause. For 25 years the Southern Maryland Food Bank has been serving the communities of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties.
Walmart Stores and our associates know the importance of supporting our communities and those in need. As we work together for Southern Maryland, we CAN make a difference!
